Plan on getting back to it next week. Had a Swap Meet at Street Rod Lane, Blanchester, Oh. last Weekend, and wife had her Craft things. It is a job putting away things that I had collected over the years, especially Nascar Items. I thought we had a lot of Nascar people in this area! We did sell a lot of Advertising Items though. Want to finish this car soon. Just don't move as fast anymore ! Old Dude

Now onto to 6 volt electric Fuel Pump, trying too find a place to mount it, so if something happens, it will will be easy accesable. Will send pictures of update, soon. Cruise On, Old dude.

Wow ... nice work. Please post some pics of the front. What color are you gonna paint it?
[Reply to this comment]olddude39 on Aug 15, 2012 said:
The original color was a beigh color, and someone painted it a turquoise. I ripped the inside out, and everything was beigh, and I had that color on my shelf, so guess what ? Everypone says it is ugly, that is the reason I got it. My brothers told me they crused them all, that is the only reason I got. LOL I just got put the pluming & filters in for 6 Volt Fuel Pump. Cruise On.

nickmon4321...Old rubber floor matt trick....I once had a '64 Ford Galaxie XL (spelling) where I would attach my Yamaha 125 Dirt Bike to the rear end bumper in order to transport it to an open wooded area, but the car would sag tremendously from the weight of this bike....My solution was to get two junk yard coil springs and add them between the leaf springs and the car chassey to keep the rear end up with the extra weight...I attached them to the chassey and the back axle with metal coat hanger wires and it worked great....Like they say, "There's more than one way to skin a cat"...Nick

When in Service Station Business, back in the 70's, I repaired Exhaust with torch & Coat Hangers. No Mig Welders back then. '49 Nash 600 has Coils in rear. I am planning on replacing with new shorter Coil Springs, & new shocks. Decent Body, but I am taking clear down to Metal to make sure body is rust free. Cruise On !

Gotta love your '31 Model A Ford Coupe....Also if you watch "Pawn Stars" on the History Channel on TV, their home base always seems to first zero in on an old Nash similar to yours before they go into their Home Base Storage area.....Just saying.....Here is a story concerning a '30 Model A Ford...(url)http://www.americantorque.com/page/0/2356/(/url)

Thanks Nick, I have so many, I could possibly write a book. The local historical Society, ask me to join, but i declined. It seems everything leads to Politics anymore. Our town is Home Ruled & that means they do as they please. It was put into effect in Jan. 1912, and the locals don't want to change. So I do what I like, Old Cars. I have sent articles to Street Scene Mag. ( 4 ) in the 90's, where we had 350 Old Cars, '80 & older only. I don't like to look at new cars. I have been a Notary for Ohio, for almost 42 years now. Wishing you and your Family the BEST during the Holidays. May the wind always be at your back. Cruise On, Jim
