Engine in my Cutlass

Love the 455's!

A little fun with the Subaru people.

installation process of Magafuel Prostar 500 fuel pump. this pump is truely a work of art.

Fuel distribution block I made out of a piece of billet 6061-T6

Most Japanese cars see this view. Wheelie bars are Jegs 4130 Chrome Moly units I built.

I bought a brand new pair of Holley 1850-10's. These carbs were terrible. The castings were poor, they leaked like a lawn sprinkler, the sealing ridge in the gasket flanges was non-existant in some areas. These carbs also have no external float adjustment on them. They were so bad I traded my friend out of an old set of -4's on his race car, bebuilt them and gave him the new ones. He had sold the car and the new owner just wanted some carbs to put with the tunnel ram on that motor. I was glad to be rid of them.

Here's the motor with the newly rebuilt -4's. Not as shiney but work and don't leak. I kinda like the utilitarian look they give the motor. These were made when Holley still cared about quality. I also have an 8082 Holley Dominator for the car and it's still made well.

Video and audio clips

Sorry for the lousy video I shot this with a digital camera holding it while I was trying to drive, but you can still get some idea of driving it.
