You have got to love this sort of automotive stuff. Car labels are the only kind of labels I care about. Cheers.

I visited a car museum in San Diego and there were glass cases FULL of hood ornaments from the beginning of the auto era. I was amazed at the intricate art work and detail just for those hood emblems.

I wish I could have taken a photo of each one.

I have always loved engine call out badges, and the myriad of stripes and decals that differentiate all the different models of cars.

Nowadays you get plastic badges with chrome foil adhered to it stuck with double sided tape.

My how we have progressed.........(SARCASM)

Nice post Rob. I always had an interest in hood ornaments. I even have my Dad's hood ornament from his first new car a 1952 Ford Customline V8. It's dear to me because my Dad gave it to me when he bought an Eagle hood ornament for his 52 Ford.

I always admired the 55/56 Pontiac Chief hood ornament that lights up. I'm glad you posted one.

Great job on this. Cheers!

Unique idea George I like all your decals. They certainly "spruce" up the car. Cheers!

Thanks Mario.

It was fun going through a lot of photos and reliving the car shows and memories of many years.
