this is a 58 283 i put it and a borg warner 4spd. in the coupe on left. photo is upside. click to enlarge and it flips. ?

drove it to and from fort belvoir va. while in the service

Hey there Larry, last time I checked Studebaker's are not Chevy's. Unless they were built after 1963 when production was moved to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Then they had Chevy engines anyway.
