My Sweet 1969 Charger R/T S.E.

Definition of the word "Runner"

Bought stripped of her original drive train and interior in 1984 with a doner '70s charger's 318 drivetrain, ( and yes i got teased about that) It took me till '99 to collect all the correct BB parts incl. a '69 Super Bee six-pack 440 now a 40 over 446 C.I. the S.E. interior came from another '69 S.E. both parts cars only cost $500 at the time BTW:

Last night we cruised all along and around the coast of San Francisco and as usual met alot of rabid Charger fans most of whom had a car just like it... The color is a ink blue with a red tint most folks think it's purple but it really changes alot depending on the light.

Extreamly dependable I'd drive my baby anywhere, not the fastest perhaps or concours correct, but the world's best Heavy Cruiser and she'll chirp the tires at '60. My Charger has only two sounds -Horney Panther or Pissed Off Tyrannosaur. some specs: stock six-pack cam, 770 Holly Street Avenger on a Weiland Stealth, MSD billet Distrib. MSD spark, 3 inch TTI exhaust with crossover, Built race 727 8 3/4 rear with 323s (the only remainder of the '70 Charger 500 drivetrain) Hemi Oiling and Tosion Bars, SS rear springs. Torque Thrust II American Wheels. engine dress up (chromed valve covers dip stick and Moroso air filter.

It's the Charger I've dreamed about since I was 12 in 1969 and sat in a tripple black 440 R/T at a dealership thinking - This is the King of the Road. I used to build alot of models in prep for this one. I promised myself that "one day", and it's now been driven regular for well over two decades and still she's the King of the Road.

Love the color on the underside of the hood. Is that T3 Light Bronze Metallic, which all hot chicks love?

"Horney Panther or Pissed Off Tyrannosaur"....way cool. Hope you are still driving it regularly. I appreciate all types in the car hobby but have a much greater appreciation for those that are driven and still look this good. Awesome Charger, great job!
