Rick's '55 chev'

gone but not forgotten

Raced the car a few years beginning in '69. It was pretty stout for a 327, At 3200 lb with a cam and 1050 cfm 3 bbl Holly it went 12.50s at 117. I took it off the strip and painted it candy apple red in '72. Like a lot of us I sold it like a fool in '77 . Like a lot of us, I wish I had it now!

Memories...that was a nice '55. I use to run a 327 with a 3 bbl in a '57. Sweet little engine. I wonder if they still make that 3 bbl ???

HAVEN'T SEEN THAT CARB SINCE I QUIT RUNNING THE CAR. IF THEY DO MAKE IT IT'S PROBABLY $1,000!
