Rogy's 74 Vette

03 V Rod

4 yrs in the making, this collage shows how the car looked when I bought it and then the fun began. SB 350, 300 HP, Turbo 350 w shift kit, headers, 2.5 in exhaust, almost a frame off with all new bushings and much more - a great driver.

2003 HD V Rod, Chrome HD body kit, much chrome jewelry added, 100th anniversary edition - great ride.

42 people worked on the Vette to get it to this point

On the maiden voyage after 4 yrs of work

In the paint booth at Big Rig in Abbotsford B.C.

The first day I picked up the car...lotsa work ahead!

Working on car at Matsqui shop

Looks like I will need a new rear bumper cap

New exhaust installed

Canada Engines did all the mechanical work

Paint complete, right out of paint booth at Big Rig

Motor and tranny installed

350smb/350turbo ready for install

Oops my wife isn't happy...we need a new alternator

On top of Bear's Tooth 2012

new exhaust, new powder coated headers,new power steering ram

new carpets, original leather distressed seats, new door panels from a 69 Vette.

Reconditioning the original leather seats...the best I can

2 coats, then a clear - Freightliner metallic grey

350smbc/300HP

We even repaired the gas tank and put a new fuel sending unit in.

Day 1 when I picked car up in Chemanius, Vancouver Island BC

A new rad w dual electric fans, which weren't enough,so had to reinstall factory fan too

Put a shift kit in the 350 turbo tranny

the gutted rear interior

Put in new A arms

Stripping the rear end, gas tank, bumper, rear leaf spring

Took out old engine and put in a new smbc, cleaned up engine bay first.

new calipers, rotors, and brake lines, shocks

so much to do: new pwr window motors, new door panels, new carpet, reconditioned speedo/tach, redid clock, interior lights, emergency brake, rear compartment doors, etc...

good used OEM beauty rings and mexican hats

put in a new wiper motor, lotsa work from this point on.

threw this dog of an engine out...it wasn't the original anyways.

I had to add this, with all that mirror chrome on that V-Rod, you should really wear like an aluminum foil suit, of course with all that bling you may end up blinding an oncoming driver with the right sun position.
