Kirkfield, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Saturday September 2, 2023.

I took in the annual Kirkfield car show that is now 32 years strong. Always a great turnout as long as the weather is good and the weather was good and hot. Lots of old rock and roll music all day, lots of great vintage rides to see and met and spoke to many old car folks that have the same passion I have. I took my 1957 Pontiac on this one hour and forty five minute trek one way and as always a champ. Check out the rides. Cheers.

Cool car show George. Many nice fifties and sixties cars showed up. I like the following cars:

Red 68 Chevelle conv. Nice and clean. 59 Canadian Pontiac Strato Chief. Similar to my 59 Catalina my first car. 57 Meteor 3 tone, unusual. Large chrome V on grill. We had 2 tones here but I never saw a 3 tone 57. Pair of 57 Buick his and hers. Now that's a rarity not to be seen anywhere else! And the same color too. 56 Chevy Bel Air 4 door HT. Really nice and original.

I especially like the Red 52 Ford (not 53) 4 dr Customline V8 sedan. My Dad had the 52 2 dr sedan Customline V8 in blue. I was 5 years old when he bought it new and I would sit in a car seat in the front middle that had a steering wheel so I could make believe I was driving! The car's instrument panel had a small round clock in the middle and I made believe it was a speedometer like he had in front of him.

Lots more great looking cars at this show and thank you for sharing your pictures with us. Cheers, Mario

Darn it George, you went and posted way too many cars I really like. I've never been a big fan of station wagons but that Pontiac sure looks good.

I can use it to tow that orange AMX home.

And those matching 57 Buicks, what a nice couple to own. Especially the wagon. Once again another wagon. Did I catch Covid or Wagonitis????

Nice job George. Oh and that Free Spirit Buick!!!!!

Can't recall seeing one of those in my life. That's when cars were into the billboard segment of call outs. Lots of flash but not the dash of the old muscle card.

That big black 57 Buick looks like Broderick Crawford just crawled out of it on the TV show Highway Patrol.

Ahhh yes the memories of a time that will hopefully stay with me until I go home to God and see HIS COLLECTOR CAR COLLECTION.

NOW THAT IS A CAR SHOW YOU WONT WANT TO MISS!

Rob
