Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Sunday September 10, 2023.

I took in the annual Uxbridge car show with my 1974 Chev Caprice Estate and my brother Mike took his 1962 Ford Falcon. We are catching all of the car events that we can before it is all over. This car show coincided with the Uxbridge fall fair that also had many vintage tractors and farm implements. The car show itself was an excellent turnout of many real sweet time machines. There was even a sweet 1957 Pontiac there that made me wish I had brought my own. Check out the rides. Cheers.

Great car show George and thank you for posting all these fine pictures. You are certainly getting your fill of car shows this year! Here are some of my picks from the show:

57 Pontiac 2 dr sedan looks like new and I agree your 57 would have looked great next to it. Love the color.

60 Chevy delivery sedan rare and wild. Looking at that hood scoop I wonder what's under the hood.

55 GMC pick up rare and great condition. Love the coral color too.

62 Chevy Bel Air Bubble top is a beautiful car in showroom condition.

Thank you for the pictures George. Cheers, Mario

By the way the "I Like Ike" bumper sticker on the 57 Chevy wagon is a riot! Only us old folks would even know what it means. Great catch getting that shot.

Mario, thank you for the nice comments. You would have to be over 55 to know who Ike was (Dwight D. Eisenhower). I do not know about the U.S. but in Canada WW 2 history is no longer taught. It is all part of the nonsense going on today concerning politics. Of which I will not get into here. Cheers.

My sentiments exactly George........you read my mind. But Im told there's not much to read anymore. More like a index card than a library.

And the winner is: 1955 GMC Suburban Carrier. I can not get enough of this amazing machine, can you tell.

Rob
