St. Jacobs, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Saturday September 30, 2023.

I took in the annual St. Jacobs car show and what an amazing event. This event has always been held at an absolute great location for a car show. I took my 1974 Chev Caprice Estate. The facility is the home for a great model air plane facility and the model airplanes flying around is worth the price of admission. Last year they had a model jet air craft flying around, I kid you not. The weather was perfect, the amount of cars was perfect and I met an amazing amount of wonderful old car folks. Check out the rides. Cheers.

Number 1 is my Number 1 the 56 Lincoln Continental. Looks like it fits into our car culture today. Rob

With a $9,966 base price the most expensive American-produced automobile of the time, the 1956 Continental Mark II was marketed against the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud and the Bentley Continental. Good choice Rob.

The following year in 1957 Cadillac came out with a $13,000 car at a time when many houses cost less than that.

Once more another fine car show George and thank you for posting all these pictures. Unusual that there was a car show along with a scale model airplane show. They look fantastic and must have put on a wonderful aerial show. Too bad you didn't take video of them flying and post on this Page. Maybe next time.

These are my picks of the car show:

55 Chevy 2 dr HT 2 tone Bel Air. Yes the Icon of all Icons! Always a favorite of mine.

59 Plymouth Fury unique and rarely seen at shows.

It amazes me how many 32 Ford Hot Rods are still around, and you took pictures of 3! Black Coupe, Green Conv and a Red one too. All in great shape.

56 Chevy Bel Air 2dr HT looks really good. Love the Blue 2 tone colors.

51 Ford Victoria 2dr HT another rare one in great condition. Ford's first no post hardtop.

Thank you again George for another superb car show and model airplanes too. Cheers to you. Mario

Nice added pictures. I always like the "fake" spare on the trunk like the 59 Plymouth Fury. Good picture. Cheers.
