56th Motorfest annual Vintage Car and parts meet.

Sunday December 3, 2023.

I took in the very long running, 56 years up to this point. Motor fest vintage cars and parts meet at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This very long running car club Motor City (1959) out of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Has held many amazing car shows and swap meets over these many years and they have always held a very class act, no matter what they do. This event was mostly a vintage parts event but there were a few cars for sale as well. These photos represent maybe 5% of the content there at this event. My beloved younger brother Mike came as well and I have always loved his input in these events. Check out the many vendors and cars for sale at this always very interesting event. Cheers.

1955 Studebaker. What an original beauty.

Factory Studebaker V-8.

1977 Dodge wagon. Super clean survivor car.

360. I think.

When was the last time you saw one of these.

Hemi valve covers.

Very very very very very rare and yes I say very rare. Vacuum ash try accessory. This unit was an N.O.S. unit (new original stock). Good luck finding an original unit but they do reproduce them. This unit was up for sale for a very low $750. This vendor was amazed that I even knew what this was. I have one in my 57 Pontiac and had the same one in my 57 Chev.

Some Ford flat head power.

Ford flatty 4 power.

1957 Chev.

1930's Morgan British trike.

What ?

60's VW bug.

Well that is a supermarket bonanza for all things..that 57 pickup really popped in that raspberry color. It's hard to take in all that is before your eyes. And inside to boot. I bet Ronnie Milsap's song: "Lost in the 50's" would have been playing in my head all day.

A very large and interesting show of car parts and memorabilia George. Thank you for sharing these pictures.

I can see myself walking around and spending hours looking at everything they have to offer and talking to the vendors.

The 57 Chevy pickup truck is pristine but a hefty price for sale. Although the owner probably invested more money than he's asking in return.

Cheers to you George and Happy Holidays, Mario

This is it until late March of next year. Too depressing for words on so many levels. The older I get the less I can stand not having vintage automotive events to be a part of. Now it is brrrrrrr for the next few months. I hope everyone out there makes it through it better than I am.

Luckily we have American Torque to fall back on during those cold winter months. We can just keep on posting new pages and having fun with it. I'm working on some now which I'll be posting soon. Cheers my friend, Mario
