I took in the 15th annual Dundas car show with my 74 Chev Caprice Estate. Held in a beautiful area to have a vintage tin car show. It just figures that the one time I do not take my 57 Pontiac, is the one time that another 57 Pontiac shows up. I met some really decent old car folks at this event which made the show all the more enjoyable. I ran out of battery power on both my camera batteries so the photos were limited. Enjoy the rides. Cheers.

Well I'm making this a simple pick from my simple mind.....
The 62 Chevy reminds me so much of the famous drag car from the area I grew up.
Does "OLD RELIABLE" ring any bells?
Amon R. Smith of York PA was just one of the cars I got to see in my youth. York was 30 miles from my home and the famous York US 3o Dragway was there.
I was amazed how fast a full body car was then. Funny how I went to see the Corvettes at the drags and sadly, they weren't as fast (mostly) as the other cars. It was sad to see my favorite car get spanked time and time again and they were mostly stock back then and that rear end in the Vette just wasn't up to that abuse.
SO I'll choose that as my pic of the litter.
The 58 Chevy 283 Fuelie would make a nice centerpiece on my dining table. Doubt if the wife is in agreement with that, but it sure makes meals fun.
Thanks Geo......thumbs up as usual.
