Fenelon Falls, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Sunday August, 4, 2024.

I took in the annual Fenelon Falls Car and big truck show with my brother Mike. There was about 600 vintage vehicles there. Enjoyable drive there and back in excellent weather. A real sweet variety of vintage tin and met some good old car folks to talk old cars to. It was a bit of a drive 2.5 hours one way but it was worth it. Enjoy the rides. Cheers.

Hey George, looks like another fine show.

Let me be the first to ask: In pic #2, that one truck with the other two says it's a MERCURY? Am I about to learn something else in my lifetime? Please, expound on this.

Now you know I'm a big fan of Corvettes. Well I also like the AMX's because they resemble a Corvette in certain ways. I always loved the red, white and blue paint scheme on the ones that were in Trans Am Racing. You posted 3, nice work.

Boy that 64 Grand Prix looks nice. Very nice presentation on all the various engines, even a truck diesel. Can't leave them OTR's out.

I cannot imagine the cost to keep up a tractor trailer combo as a hobby and entry into car/truck shows. I'm keeping my Nova satin black just so I don't have to wax om, wax off, wax om, wax off.

It looks like Elon Musk's Cybertruck gave birth to THE THING from VW. To each their own.

Well I'm going out on a limb and choosing that Mercury Truck, if there is such a thing< as my show winner winner chicken dinner.

Oh and I do like the window signage.....hahaha.

As you say: Cheers mate!

My kind American neighbour to the south. Mercury trucks were sold in Canada so that non Ford dealers had a truck to sell. A simple formula that worked here in Canada for a while anyway. Cheers mate.

Well George this is one of the finest car shows you have gone to this year and I wish I could have been there. So many Great cars in beautiful condition and I am going to be very greedy and pick all the ones I really like.

One of my all time favorites is the 56 Ford Fairlane. You have a black 2 door HT with Coni Wheel that I love. Great condition.

Next is one of my favorite pickups the 56 Ford F100 in Red a real beauty. Again it's in great condition.

The 50 Ford Tudor in blue is exquisite and in showroom condition. I would own that one in a heartbeat. I love the "Shoe box Fords".

A great 57 Chevy 210 2 door sedan in black, another outstanding example of the ICON. The car I took my road test in and passed first time. Always a special car.

Next is the "Hot One" the 55 Chevy Bel Air 2 door sedan 2 tone. Another of my all time favorite cars the 55 Chevy. I would love to drive and own one.

You had a 55 Pontiac Red convertible Canadian model which is in pristine condition. My Father-In-Law's favorite car and one of mine too.

The Red 51 Ford Convertible is a rare car and for sale too! What a beauty. My uncle Al had a new 51 Ford 2 door sedan for many years and it was a great car.

All the Big Rigs was a special treat to see. My father-In-Law John was a Big Rig driver and he would have loved seeing these. They are all awesome!

Finally the 57 Olds 88 2 door HT is another of my all time favorites and this one is in showroom condition. A great year for Oldsmobile!

Thank you George for the wonderful cars and pictures. Cheers to you, Mario
