Paris, Ontario, Canada Car Show.

Sunday September 15, 2024.

I took in the long running Paris Ontario Car show and swap meet for many years and this year like so many other years was a great turn out of vintage tin. I took my 57 Pontiac.Sweet country drive getting there and getting back. The swap meet was small but there was stuff for folks that wanted it. Nice selection of cars so check out the tin. Cheers.

Most of my photos that I took did not turn out so the pickings were very slim here.

A real beauty George and my top pick is the 57 Chevy Bel Air 2 door HT V8 in light blue and white with fender skirts. Looks like in showroom condition. The ICON of 50's cars and always a favorite of mine.

An unusual 59 Chevy Biscayne 2 door sedan in 2 tone black and grey V8 is another pick. I haven't seen that color combo before and an interesting paint scheme. Looks like a fast car with those fat rear tires.

The White 60 Vette Convertible is also a classic car and real nice to look at. Beautiful condition and I love the cowl on that year Vette. I can see myself with my wife going out for a country drive with the top down!

Another great car show George and too bad you had trouble with pictures, but those 3 cars alone made the show for me! Cheers, Mario

Hey Geo, this thread must have slipped past me. It doesn't take much anymore.

I like the Avanti as I worked with a guy way back in 1973 who had a black one. The reason I recall it so vividly is, he had the car painted in a new Dupont paint called Duron I believe.

Sadly, the overhead water sprinklers went off after painting it and I believe Elvis would've written heartbreak hotel there had he seen it.

All that work. What are the odds?

That 58 Buick Limited sure has enough chrome eh?

Sorry your pics didn't quite turn out. Been there, done that.

Thanks for the ride Geo, cheers.
