Mario's Milleridge Inn Car Show August 21, 2025

Hot Camaro Spiderman

My second car show for this week was held at the Historic Milleridge Inn, Jericho NY.

The Milleridge Inn Car Show was held Thursday August 21, 2025 and we were very fortunate to have very nice weather and mild temps with low humidity. Many nice classic cars showed up for the show from all over Long Island, NY.

There was a hot band playing oldies all night and there was lots of good food and classic cars.

The Milleridge Inn was established back in 1672 and is a Federal designated Historical Restaurant and Inn.

I have dined there with my wife many times and have had many family events in their dining rooms. Enjoy the show! Mario.

1 1931 Ford Hot Rod. Love the whitewalls with the blue paint and chrome engine.

2 1931 Ford Sedan all original. This car survived decades without being turned into a Hot Rod. Nice original close to 100 years old.

3 1935 Ford Hot Rod 5 window coupe. Love the sloped rear end on this 2 door coupe.

4 1937 Chevy 2 door coupe. Another great looking original with 2 tone paint and whitewalls.

5 1946 Packard 4 door sedan. All Original Packard and a rare car.

6 1948 Chevy Fleetline Custom sedan. This is a wild looking car called The Rocket.

7 1952 Chevy Woody wagon. Not much wood on this 52 Chevy but it is in great condition in and out.

8 1952 Chevy Woody wagon

9 1955 Chevy Hot Rod 2 door sedan. A real Gasser with low ET.

10 1955 Chevy Hot Rod 2 door sedan

11 1956 Ford pickup. One of my all time favorite 50's Ford Pickups. This one is in beautiful condition.

12 1956 Ford pickup. Modern look to a 56 Ford Pickup.

13 1956 Ford T Bird. Dusk falls on the Milleridge Car Show and headlights go on.

14 1956 Ford T Bird. The 56 T-Bird came standard with the Opera window for better side view and Continental wheel for more trunk space. The 2 biggest complaints by customers in 1955 first year.

15 1956 Ford T Bird. Beautiful side view of the 2 seater T-Bird.

16 1957 Oldsmobile 2 door HT. Very nice 57 Olds 2 door hardtop. Don't see too many at car shows.

17 1958 Chevy Nomad Station Wagon. Yes Chevy made a Nomad wagon in 1958. This is the 2nd one I've seen at a car show. Very rare car.

18 1959 Chevy Nassau County NY Police Car. My town of Oyster Bay is in Nassau County Long Island NY one of 62 Counties in New York State. This 59 Chevy has the authentic blue and orange colors of Nassau County back in 1959.

19 1960 Corvette. Just a beautiful 60 Vette Convertible in pristine condition.

20 1960 Corvette. All original in and out and showroom condition.

21 1963 Corvette Split Window. I'm amazed at how many 63 Split Window Corvettes are still around. I've seen many at car shows and don't get why they're priced so high.

22 1968 Dodge Charger, Dukes of Hazzard. I loved the Dukes of Hazzard TV show and The General car they drove. The 68 Charger was a Hot car with the Hemi engine back them and I love seeing them at car shows.

23 1969 Chevelle SS396. I had a 69 Camaro SS350 and it ate up Chevelle SS396's at the track. The Camaro was lighter and the 350 was very quick off the line. The original 396 V8 had oil issues and ran hot.

24 1969 Chevelle SS396. A clean looking example of the 69 Chevelle SS396.

25 1969 Chevelle SS

26 1969 Chevelle SS

27 1970 AMC Trans Am Javelin. A rare car and much overlooked.

28 1970 Chevy Nova SS427. This car must be awesome on the 1/4 mile track with low ET's.

29 1970 Plymouth Road Runner. My cousin Frank bought a new 70 Road Runner and my 69 Camaro SS350 ate him up at the track. It was too heavy.

30 1971 Chevy Nova SS. The Classic Nova SS in Marina Blue a popular paint color back then.

31 1974 Pontiac Grand Am. Great example of a 74 Grand Am. My brother John owns a stock 73 Grand Am in white with a rare 4 speed stick and 400ci engine 1 0f only 180 made.

32 Car Show and Classic 1940 Ford 2 door coupe. I was always a fan of the 1940 Ford. My wife's cousin Bobby owned a 40 Ford convertible and I got to ride in it years ago. I loved the teardrop headlights and the Sargent stripe tailights.

33 Car Show and Sporty Shelby GT. I got to sit in a 67 Shelby GT once and it was a tight fit. Not a comfortable sports car but very fast.

34 Car Show at Milleridge Inn. Great crowd and lots of unique classic cars came out.

35 Hot Camaro Spiderman. This guy is a true fan of Spiderman and very well done on this new Camaro which is why I chose to make this the cover picture on this page.

36 Hot Muscle cars showing off their engines. Lots of Muscle cars appeared showing off their engines.

37 Milleridge Inn Band

38 Milleridge Inn Restaurant established in 1672

39 The Milleridge Inn Restaurant operating since 1672

40 Milleridge Inn Plaque since 1672

It was another beautiful day well spent at the Milleridge Inn car show in Jericho, NY only 2 towns away from my town of Oyster Bay.

Lots of classic cars and spectators enjoyed the stroll to see the cars. The Restaurant and Village were open for quick meals and an outdoor band played oldies for us.

Overall it was a wonderful night out. Cheers, Mario

What's up King of the CAR SHOWS???????? Looks like you are making up for lost shows. Good for you. Before I forget your photos really look nice as the car fills the shot. When I take shots at events I always try to get the whole car in the side shot. Sometimes when the cars are parked so close together it's hard to do.

Well since I can identify with orphans, I'm picking the 1970 AMC Trans AM Javelin. My friend back in the days, had one. He had the Mark Donahue Version. He was one of the bowling car guys. We had our own show when we came to the bowling alley for leagues. From C1 Corvettes to 1970 Chevelle SS396, a 1967 GTO Convertible. A 68 Road Runner, a Buick GS, and Glenns Javelin. I felt out of place with my 65 Mercury Comet but when you're poor, you buy what you can not always what you want.

So cheers to Glenn for being the odd duck with the Mark Donahue Javelin. Oh I forgot one of our guys brought his Shelby 500 Mustang. Cars were for driving not for garage occupants.

I was finally able to join the club when I got my 1969 Olds 442. We all would finish bowling and go to a local diner we named: "sorry we are open". The conversations were about benchtop racing, who has the fastest car, and of course, who is the best bowler. I entertained turning pro but life took me in a different direction when I found out I was going to be a Father.

Wow did I go overboard on this reply.

So I'll shut up and enjoy the show. Nice work Master of the AT Car Threads. Cheers Mario.

PS: Awesome tribute to your father. I salute you.

Please don't think you have to shut up Rob I really enjoy your stories so keep saying them. You have my Blessings.

I went back and made a lot of comments on the different cars so I too have a lot of stories like you on the pictures. It's amazing how a specific year car and make brings back a flood load of memories.

I like documenting all our stories, yours and mine, and others, for future generations on AT. So feel free to tell us your entertaining stories. They are very much welcomed.

So now go back and enjoy the show! Cheers, Mario.

Great car show coverage Mario! You have very informative and interesting captions for each car! I think my favorites are the 1937 Chevy 2 door coupe and the 52 Chevy woody. And the 1959 Chevy Nassau County NY Police Car. You don't make it easy to pick a favorite!
