My first car show of the 2026 season and it was fabulous! It was great going to a car show after the long cold and snowy winter we had here on Long Island, NY.

But Spring has sprung and the Tobay Beach Car Show did not disappoint. One of Long Island's largest car shows drew 1,000 cars.

There's a saying that variety is the spice of life. Well that being true, this is one spicey car show. Hard to believe the car show season is here. As yours begins, my car shows will be dwindling. If you can't find something you like here, I doubt you are living life in the collector car hobby. And this is only half of the show, so this is only a teaser to what's to come. grab some popcorn and as they say, let the rest of the show begin.... I didn't pick a favorite here just yet, I'm reviewing the pics until one jumps out at me.

Pic 25 the 69 Camaro RS/SS with the dog dish hubcaps.....love the color on both this 69 and the Z/28. I'm just not a big fan of large wheels. Sure go 15 or 16 or 17 but any larger the dimensions in the wheel wells goes all wrong.

I agree there should be something here for everyone. I tried getting pictures of many different styles of cars and colors, but there was so much to choose from.

Thank you Rob for your kindness and best wishes on this Memorial Day weekend. I know we look at Memorial Day as the official start of summer and lots of good BBQ's. Which is all good.

But lets not forget the true meaning of Memorial Day or Decoration Day when we mourn the U.S. Military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. We place Flags on their graves in their Honor for their ultimate sacrifice for all of us.
