I'm happy to see my dream 442 made the cut. I must agree with your choice of the cover page car. That 58 Corvette is off the hook......which is a saying I seldom use but hopefully I'm using it in the right context. Trying to keep up with all the changes this world is throwing at us, or is it me, it's a challenge just knowing what fits and has been discarded.

Back to the eye candy being presented here.

Pic 16 I see that little white cue ball and that tells me there may be something special under the hood. That bench seat with the 4 speed shifter harkens me back to my 1969 442, yes one of the best purchases in my life. Rare to find a cloth bench seat with a 4 speed Hurst poking out of the floor, not a console. Not the first choice for many, but unless you're buying used, one doesn't get to choose all the accessories. Though the icing isn't your favorite part, there's a tasty cake lying under that icing.

Glad you have the perfect weather for your shows. Please continue us housebound or cabin fever desert dwellers the threads that remind us, our time is coming for cool cars and cool temperatures.

You can see by the pictures the range of years for the fans who come to these car shows. I enjoy seeing the cars but I also enjoy looking at the people of all ages with and without children coming to the car show.

Like you said that '58 Corvette is off the hook! Unbelievably the finest I've seen including in a showroom back in 1958 when I was just 11 years old.

And as far as the '62 Bel Air with bench seats and 4 speed on the floor, you're right the white cue ball shifter tells a good story of what's under the hood. Chevy small block all chromed V8 with dual quads!
