My family is agonizing over the heat. I understand. I told my son to take a lawn chair and plop it down in a creek where the water just caresses your bottom and relax. I used to do that and take my dog and the dog played Lloyd Bridges of Sea Hunt fame as my dog would go under water looking for who knows what?

Man that 70 'Cuda looks stout. There's more meat under that car then in a butcher shop window.

I liked the 65 Olds Hardtop. Rarely see them anymore......or cloned for 442. I'd park it in my garage either way.

The 56 Nomad looks like it's ready to go on a Route 66 tour. I like the wheels, and the color.

And of course there is no such thing as an ugly Doozie.......is there?

John did a great job filling in for you . Congrats to your daughter and her hubby.

It got to 106 in my hometown of Mechanicsburg PA and I think that is a record. My son and cousin checked in to tell me they want to come to Arizone to cool off. It must be heat that's causing that kind of thinking.

In HONOR, of not only your service, but all those in the military, I stand and salute you for being a part of this country celebrating it's 250 Birthday. If it wasn't for people, ordinary people mind you, that decided this country is worth saving and when others stepped aside, you all stepped up.

You fought for this country and I understand how I see just as you, will there be a 300TH?

Our parents and grandparents fought 2 world wars and I remember when I was a youngster how much Everyone celebrated the 4th of July, Memorial Day Parades, all the regular holidays and we actually said the Pledge of Allegiance in school.

We were a Country who engraved In God We Trust in our money. I volunteered to go into the service when a lot of my generation were trying to avoid the draft, runoff to Canada, etc.

This is not political. It's showing a pure Love of our Country the Finest in the World and making sure those who fought and died for our Freedom did not suffer in vain.

Thank you Rob and thank you Brandon for allowing us once a year to show our love for the USA. I find that the vast majority of Classic Car lovers who go to the car shows are very patriotic and not afraid to show it.

I agree with Rob about the 56 Nomad, that would be a dream cruiser for Route 66.
