Oyster Bay Car Show September 16, 2025

1940 Willys Hot Rod Coupe

Our weekly Oyster Bay Cruise Night Car Show was held Tuesday September 16, 2025 and we had very nice weather with low humidity as we start entering the Fall season.

There was a hot band playing our oldies all night and again we had a lot of food, vendors and classic cars.

Many Exotic and Classic cars came out for us to see and drool over: such as 20’s and 30’s Fords; 40’s, 50’s and 60’s Chevys; a 1965 Shelby Cobra, and many others. Of significance was the 2025 Ford GT Supercar 660 HP, 0-60 in 2.9 sec. Top Speed 216 MPH.

But my choice for the Cover Car is a rare 1940 Willys Hot Rod Coupe. Nice to see a pre war Willys in person with an all-out chromed Blown V8 and the original Teardrop Headlights.

Enjoy the show! Mario.

We're coming to the end of the Car Show season for 2025 and it's been a wonderful summer viewing and photographing all these exotic and classic cars.

There's a special Saturday car show in Oyster Bay on September 20th and I'll be there.

Cheers, Mario.

What an eclectic gaggle of cars Mario.....I will say you are good at presenting ones from the weird to the wild.

My heart harkens back to the 1964 Dodge Fury Hemi. I can see myself sitting in my bedroom at age 13 building a model RamChargers with it's wild paint job.

I liked how I could build it stock, or mild or wild.

Sad to haer of your shows winding down. I'll be glad when the day shows at Little Anthonys in Tucson begins. I can't go to the night show due to my poor vision.

Thanks for this show Mario and I truly enjoyed the evening shot, pic 50, with the lights...nice touch.

Glad you liked my assortment of cars Rob that I showcased this week including the 64 Plymouth Hemi.

I remember seeing the Ram Chargers at the Drag Strips on Long Island in the early to mid 60's when the Hemi's were Hot. Then the Muscle cars came out in the late 60's and gave them some competition.

I'll be going to another OB Car show tomorrow and there's another one next week possibly another the following week too. These OB car shows are much in demand and big business for the Village stores.

So don't worry Rob there's still a bunch of shows to go. After that I'll be posting other Pages on my quest to 300. Cheers, Mario.
