Oyster Bay Car Show September 30, 2025

1955 Chevy Bel Air

The weekly Oyster Bay Cruise Night Car Show was held Tuesday September 30, 2025 and we had very nice weather with low humidity as we’re now enjoying the Fall weather.

There was a hot band playing our oldies all night and again we had a lot of food, vendors and classic cars.

Many Exotic and classic cars came out for us to see and admire. A Beautiful 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 door hardtop was Winner of Best in Show for 2025.

So, I made the 55 Chevy the Cover of my Page.

Another great Oyster Bay Cruise Night Car Show as we wind down the season. So many classic cars showed up to make this a wonderful family outing.

It's been my pleasure to cover all these car shows and posting them on American Torque.

Enjoy the car show, Mario.

Hey another walk down Main Street at Oyster Bay, which is never a bad thing.

First, I love the pic of the Runabout and the Mustang. That pic speaks volumes of how the auto industry that has evolved into what it was just 60 years ago. WOW!!!!

Next the 40 Ford with the sloping rear roof, done in satin black looks both cool and menacing. Another winner winner chicken dinner.

Even the various paint schemes from mild to wild was entertaining. The Camaros, and the Dart Wagon. I've never been one to dare to paint any of my cars in that venue. To those that do, hats off to being outside the box.

I appreciate ALL 3 of the Olds pics. That Gold 71 is one that I'd sell a kidney on EBay to own. Okay, maybe not but you catch my drift as we used to say. Today that means nothing to the new gen.

That little 62 Buick Skylark was a nice addition. They do not get the attention they deserve.

And who wouldn't love a GS455?

Thanks again for another stroll down Oyster Bay. Well done Mario....well done.

Now let me go see what kidney is going for on EBay.

Rob

Once again thank you Rob for your insights and great observations.

Your comment about the picture of the Runabout and the Mustang was very enlightening showing how the auto industry evolved over the last 60 years.

I took the picture showing both cars a 28 Ford and a 65 Mustang and now I know why. I guess it was a subconscious act. Nice going Rob you have a keen eye.

Ah and the 40 Ford one of my all time favorite cars. The styling, the sloped rear, the tear drop headlights, the Sargent tail lights, all make this car "cool and menacing" as you stated. Well said Rob. I'll take that "chicken dinner"!

And yes I also look for unusual paint schemes as you said from "mild to wild". It amazes me how some owners go crazy wild with their paint schemes also but it sets them apart from everyone else.

I knew you would like all 3 Olds pictures. I look for them just for you and glad you liked them. The Gold 71 was a beauty but I don't think you should sell a kidney for it! But I catch your drift.

And finally, yes the 62 Buick Skylark and GS455 were nice additions. Glad you noticed.

I love the Customized Hotrods, the prewar classics, the post war classics, the 55 Chevy Best of Show winner and all the 60's and 70's Muscle cars. And I am proud I was able to capture all of these at this car show.

Thank you again Rob and see you on Main Street Oyster Bay. Cheers, Mario
