Santa Shootout All Red Car Show Oct 26, 2025

Squarehead Brewery, Holbrook NY

Squarehead Brewery in Holbrook NY had a Santa Shootout All Red car show on Sunday October 26, 2025.

A unique car show with all red cars (some not red) and Santa judging them. Lots of fun and lots of beer!

My second car show for today and this one was very unique. An All Red (with some exceptions) Santa Shootout car show at the Squarehead Brewery in Holbrook LI.

I never saw so many red cars in one place and it was amazing. Great idea and I'll be back next year. Enjoy, Mario

Hey Mario, this was an easy choice for my pick of the show.

It's the RED ONE!!

Wow, who would've thought you could garner enough one color cars to be able to have a show built around it? Amazing......never saw this done before.

You have the knack for finding the unique and different in your quest for threads. I applaud your efforts.

I did see the unicorn car entered that was not red. Odd how that happens!!

I've never owned many red cars in my life. The desert sun will make a weak red paint job look like the Pink Panther if not well maintained and kept out of the UV light.

I'm not sure if it's the old wives tale of cops being more readily apt to pull over red cars than others. I drive slower now in my age group where I may need to soon use flashers all the time.

And to drive a red car slow seems to be an oxymoron.

The popular desert colors one can tell by most of the rental cars. WHITE, of course, silver, gray, tan, beige. I admire the tenacity of an owner to keep their black car dust free and scratch free. We call scratches here Arizona Pinstripping as all one needs to apply them is to lighty brush certain vegetation and voila......there you have it.

I just tried out the heat as it's NOV 1, and it was 42 last night in the desert. Thank You Lord. It warmed up to a toasty 70.

Thanks for the unique car show Mario. Keep warm making us new threads to enjoy. Your gift is our pleasure.......

Cheers, Rob

Thanks for your comments Rob. I once owned a red 94 Chevy Caprice and a red 79 Chevette. My friend Mike owned a red 64 GTO. My father also owned a red 79 Chevette. My uncle Joe had a red 78 Buick. That's about it for red. I now stick to the Blues, Greys and Black colors.

That's nice your temps are 70 now. Much better than 100 degrees. I don't know how you can take that weather. I'm uncomfortable when it reaches 80! Luckily it's in the 50's now during the day and in the 40's at night. That's great fall weather for me.

I have another car show tomorrow so stay tuned. Cheers, Mario
