Fort Totten Car Show Bayside, NYC Nov 16, 2025

1970 Olds 442 Indy 500 Pace Car

I was able to attend the yearly Car Show at Fort Totten in Bayside, Queens, NYC on Sunday Nov 16, 2025.

Many Antique cars as well as Classic and Muscle cars showed up for a great car show. The weather was wonderful, and many car fans of all ages were there.

Fort Totten is a former US Army installation in the New York City borough of Queens built in 1862 during the Civil War. The Fort is named after General Joseph Totten (1788-1864) who served in the War of 1812. The original purpose of the Fort was to defend the East River approach to New York Harbor.

It is located on the north shore of Long Island. Currently the Fort is in active use by the US Army Reserve. Portions of the Fort's 49 acre site were converted for use as a public park. Other portions were converted for use by the NYPD and FDNY for training.

The Officer’s Club is owned by the Bayside Historical Society who sponsored this car show.

My choice for the Cover car to this Page is the Unique 1970 Olds 442 Indy 500 Pace Car. This one’s for you Rob!

Enjoy the Show! Mario

Mario, my bestest buddy, thanks for visiting the Olds Car Show. There's a veritable plethora of Oldsmosbiles and I would love to have one of the Hurst models.

That looks like a very nice collection of the several eras of car. Glad your weather held out for one more 2025 show.

It's nice to see an AMC REBEL....been a long time since I ran across one of the better orphan hot rods.

And who could pass up a Boattail Speedster???

That is a beautiful setting and glas they saved the building. That is some classic architecture.

Thanks again Mario...it was nice to see this show pop up on AT. With Thanksgiving coming up, may we count all our blessings. Including the opportunity to see and appreciate cars like these.

Gobble Gobble...........run turkey run.........

Rob

Glad you liked the Olds Car Show Rob. So many showed up, now I know where they are. The 72 Hurst 442 was a beauty as well as the 70 Indy 500 442.

Lots of Vintage cars were there every one a Museum piece but owned by Private collectors who take very good care of them. They drive them and they enjoy them.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Rob as we Thank God for all His Blessings. I'll still be posting various Pages so I'll see you around AT! Cheers, Mario
