Eclipse Spyder

This is a complete frame out customized 1997 Eclipse Sypder manufactured in Illinois as a joint venture between Chrysler and Mitsubishi. The only things that have not been altered is all of the glass and the trunk lid. The Paint is actually Ferrari Rosso Corsa Red ordered from Ferrari.

All badgeing removed from the front bumper filled in and smoothed to the body. • Hood cam bubble formed into custom hood scoop. • Front fenders customized to accommodate GT Factory Diablo Lamborghini door System

Back bumper customized with side body flairs, all badgeing shaved, old exhaust port fabricated to match right side

Doors installed with welded GT Factory Diablo Lamborghini door System with 4 hydraulic lift cylinders.

New electric window motors, new window switches, new electric door latches • SRS in steering wheel and right side dash • Style Option (Font & Back seats): Two-Tone Insert • Wrap Color: Beige (Match Door Panels) • Accent Color: Red Diamond Stitched Ultrasuede (Match Body Color) • Door Panel Color: Red Diamond Stitched Ultrasuede

Original engine with matching serial number with up-grades: • up-graded electronics, • custom dual exhaust, • ceramic headers, • short cold ram air system, • 4 core polished aluminum radiator, • mesh stainless steel hoses, • Steel nuts have been replaced with polished stainless steel nuts and cap nuts. • Computer diagnostics indicates no services required.

Doors installed with welded GT Factory Diablo Lamborghini door System with 4 hydraulic lift cylinders.

You can see the advantages of welded Lanbo hinges; the doors can be lifted much higher and they are much more vertical to the body rather than tipping away from the windshield. With the doors lifting higher it is much easier to get in and out of the car. Do not buy cheap hinges, they will make you miserable. The welded hinges are a bit less expensive than the bolt-on’s but are more difficult to install. And unless you own a body shop, I highly recommend that you find a professional that has install several Lanbo doors. You should budget approximately $5,000.oo to just do the doors.

Engine mods: • Original engine with matching serial number with up-grades: Stock 141 h now 162 @ 5800 • up-graded electronics, • custom dual exhaust, • ceramic headers, • short cold ram air system, • 4 core polished aluminum radiator, • mesh stainless steel hoses, • Steel nuts have been replaced with polished stainless steel nuts and cap nuts. • Computer diagnostics indicates no services required.

Exterior mods: • Ferrari Rosso Corsa Red This was a complete frame out paint restoration, with all doors, fenders, bumpers, mirrors, door hands, hood, trunk lid and gas door removed. Each part was restored, sanded and primed. One of the questions was “on this leg, what kind of fence is a 108”, my son saw a mailbox with 108 on it with a placard, invisible dog fence.
