Just some interesting odds and ends from both my oldies. A 74 Chev Caprice Estate and a 57 Pontiac Path finder Deluxe. Cheers.
I got these vanity plates back in 1982 and it has now been on three different vintage cars. 1956 Chev 210 sedan, 1957 Chev Bel Air hardtop and now on my 1957 Pontiac Pathfinder Deluxe sedan. Years ago someone offered me $1,000 to transfer these plates over to them legally. I doubt I would take ten times that amount for these plates. They will be with me until I die.

Nice pictures George. I especially like the sun visor on your 57 Pontiac as well as the traffic light detector. Not many people know about that option. I only ever saw one at a car show on a 57 Chevy Bel Air that had almost every option! Cheers, Mario[Reply to this comment]

I remember back in the 1980's you could find exterior sun visors for 55 56 57 Chevy's on a regular basis for about $150. In 1997 I found a visor for my 57 Pontiac in Carlisle for $600 U.S. and that was a super good deal from a guy from California. Now good luck finding one.[Reply to this comment]

I will always remember my Dad's 72 Chevy wagon. His first new car with AC! It was a dream car. So big and great for carrying anything.
I bought it from him and loved it. Nothing like carrying 4 x 8 plywood fit snugly in the back.
Good times! Cheers.[Reply to this comment]
