L1's '68 T-bird

Have had my bird for 10 years now. It runs great and is a lot of fun to drive. It was my daily driver for the first 3 years I had it. I sent it to my dad in Colorado for 3 years while I was stationed in Hawaii and the dry air and weather took it's toll. I try to get it out of the driveway as much as I can (at least once a week) now. It's sorely in need of cosmetic improvement, but that will have to wait until I retire from the Army (a couple years away). In the mean time, I'm just enjoying driving it. I do have a front-end kit to (hopefully) put in this spring.

Bought it in FEB '03 from Connecticut. It's claim-to-fame is that it can be seen in the movie "Riding In Cars With Boys" starring Drew Barrymore. Not one of the main vehicles of the movie, but if you know where to look, you can spot it in the background of a couple scenes.

Most of the chrome has been removed now and the vinyl top was lost to the weather a couple years ago. Have been looking into getting a fresh paint job done, but that will have to wait until I've got the time (and the cash).

The interior is in very good condition, considering the age. As far as I know it's all original. It has the typical crack in the middle of the dash, and the seats are starting to show some wear, but it's overall nice. I am missing the chrome trim on the sides of the driver side setback. Perhaps will come across some on eBay one of these days.
