Pontiac Pathfinder deLuxe 1953

Fitz's Canadian Pontiac

How the Pontiac looks before the 9 years restoration. The green was period correct but not the original two tone paint. Now the red is the correct Pontiac 53 color offered by GM.

Talk about a time shock........that photo of the dashboard AT NIGHT is CLASSIC! Well for me it is, I remember as a small kid riding in the back of my uncles car (though not Canadian) looking over the edge of the back seat watching him drive. My uncle was 6' 6" so he practically sat in the back seat with me. We went for many a late night drive after he got home from working at a garage. I would sit on the milkbox in front of my grandmother's house waiting to see the Indian head on the hood all lit up and he'd pull up and I'd hop in. That night shot is absolutely one of my favorites. Look at the class of that steering wheel shot? The detail is awesome. This car has so many features that just screams 50s.......TWO THUMBS UP!
