I restored my car 20+ yrs. ago myself in my home garage on a rotisserie made with 2 modified engine stands. Did "everything myself" including paint, interior and all. Have owned for over 25 yrs. Enjoy driving and going to area car shows throughout the summer.

Comp cam, Windsor jr heads, forged pistons, windage tray, edelbrock performer intake, 650 holley double pump carb. and edelbrock fuel pump, msd 6al ignition with 6,000 rpm chip in rev limter and msd mechanical advance distributor. High volume water pump, flow master exhaust with H pipe and flow master 40 mufflers, stainless steel megs tips. CenterForce clutch.
This picture was the engine with stock exhaust manifolds until recently. Now has hooker super comp ceramic coated full length headers added.

Hooker Super Comp. ceramic coated headers added. Was getting by with regular. I now had to go to mid grade gas. Still has the stock size exhaust pipe of 2". Next mod might be 2 1/2" pipe!

New Grant steering wheel added. Put in this three spoke wheel instead. I think it goes with the 60's better than the Grant 4 spoke I used before. What do you think?

I also put the Hurst T-handle back on the shifter. I like it much better. Also added the Hurst Equipped emblem on the dash.

This was done at World of Wheels car show yrs. back by an airbrush artist on T-shirts with a picture of your car you provide for him to go by.

Very nice 67 Pony, Ray. You certainly did a lot of work on the original 289. What's the HP now. I too like the Grant 3 spoke wheel the best, but not the dice. Takes away from the good stuff. Great off the line with the high rear end gears. Love the candy apple red too and interior. Regards, Mario
