1974 Chevrolet Caprice Estate wagon with 400 V-8 four throat carb and most of the usual options. Dad bought it new in May 1974 for our very large family of nine, yes nine. Hence the nine passenger wagon that came in real handy lugging all that humanity around. This wonderful vehicle gets near nothing gas mileage and it always amazed me that my dad never bitched about gas mileage at all and we travelled in this 74 all over the place on family trips. The 74 now has just over 55,000 miles and I continue enjoying this car anyway that I possibly can. Cheers.
