Car Shows are back Finally after a long winter here in NY. Our First for the season in my home town of Oyster Bay, NY.

My brother John was happy to show the new 1968 Corvette he just bought and we both had a great time.

It was a warm evening at 90 degrees here but the Band was even Hotter!

Hi Johnny, glad to see you signed up on this site. You can add a profile pic of your Vette for all to see. Great time at the OB car show. Your Vette stood out nicely. Till next time!

Thanks Dave it's an awesome car and love the open air. Great power and stick to the road feel. John was looking to buy a new Corvette but the prices are ridiculous here in NY, tens of thousands over sticker and a waiting list! This 68 came up and he jumped on it. Cheers!

Frankly, I would much rather have the '68.

I agree! The new ones are more like spaceships than sports cars. Too much digital computerized functions. Nothing like the "feel" of the road while driving.

Mario, thanks for sharing this car event with us fellow gear heads. I will take the 65 Corsa because I have always loved the second generation Corvairs. I would own one in a heart beat, especially a Corsa hardtop coupe with four speed. Cheers.
