My next Oyster Bay Car Show for this year was held on July 28, 2026. Unfortunately, last week’s car show was rained out on July 21, and the previous car show on July 14 was cancelled due to extreme heat. But this week the car show was on, and we had many classics, spectators and car owners attending.
Main St was closed off to traffic, and we had a mile long block party filled with many classic cars from all over Long Island NY. The shops were open along Main St with vendors, food, drinks and fine restaurants.
Al Smith a one man band played our favorite oldies, and everyone had a good time, young and old.
I chose the 1937 Buick Convertible in blue as my Cover for this page. It is a superb classic stock car in showroom condition. What a beautiful pre-war automobile.
