1 1957 Chrysler Ghia Super Dart 400 designed by Chrysler's Exner, Giovanni Savonuzzi and built by Ghia in Italy is a one of a kind.

4 The Chrysler Ghia has tall tail fins as sharp as a knife.

5 Chrysler’s Exner worked with Ghia to execute many show-cars, this being one of their finest.

6 The car was built on a 1957 Chrysler 300 C chassis.

7 Unrestored and unmodified since 1957, this Chrysler concept really is a time capsule from the Space Age.

8 It has been driven just 49,725 miles with only three owners from new.

9 The sleek concept featured a stretched oval grille housing twin headlights.

10 Based on the Chrysler 300C chassis, Ghia built this show car for the Turin Italy motor show of 1957. Cool Spinner hubcaps.

11 Tall Tail-fins stretching all the way from the forward wings.

12 Similar Taillights later appeared on the 1958 Chrysler.

13 392 CID FirePower Hemi V8, 400 hp with 10 to 1 compression ratio, Dual Quads.

14 American V8 power and sleek Italian styling proving to be a winning formula.

16 Push button Torqueflite automatic transmission.

17 Four individual bucket seats trimmed in black and white leather.

18 Matching Rear leather bucket seats with center console.

19 Three-owner car with only 49,725 original miles on the clock.

20 Power windows, bucket seats and center console.

21 Chrysler’s Highway Hi-Fi record player option.

22 The interior featured a center console that ran from the front to the rear.

23 Roomy full-size trunk housing the AC condenser.

24 The Chrysler 400 was optioned with air conditioning.

25 1957 Chrysler Super Dart 400 first displayed at the 1957 motor shows in Torino and New York. Looks like it was originally painted White.

26 The Ghia show car was never subjected to a restoration—rare for show cars of the 1950s that were in private hands.

27 Recently participated in the Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance in 2022 and won many ribbons.

28 Tapered wheel arches front and back added to the aerodynamic feel of the design.

29 The chrome grille formed its own distinct character line that wrapped around the back of the car.

30 The Chrysler 400 won the Class Award Ribbon in the Postwar Preservation Class at Pebble Beach.

I have never seen this one before. It does not look as ridiculous as many concept cars do. I wonder how much this would sell for. Thanks for sharing.

I agree George, it's one of the better Concept Cars I've seen out of Chrysler as well as GM and Ford. The lines flow together and who can beat a Hemi engine for power?

It recently sold this year at auction for $819,000 plus commission which is not bad for a one of a kind car from 1957 with under 50K miles. Cheers, Mario

I agree, a pleasant change from some concepts. This one looks like it was designed as a whole. Love the record player. Well done Mario...I bet Dave would like it just because it's yellow like his Corvette. Rob

Yes Rob I agree this Concept Car unlike many others appears to have been designed as a whole with its aerodynamic flow and lines.

The record player was a neat addition although this option never took off. You had to buy special records from Chrysler to play on this machine and they were costly.

I too thought of Dave when I saw the original yellow paint on this concept car. Let's hope he sees this Page.

Cheers to you Rob, Mario

No surprise to me Dave, but I actually do like it too! It's an unusual tri-color combo.
