Brad's '51 Commander Starlight

1951 Commander State Starlight Coupe in Sahara Sand.

Stand back! We don't know how big this will get!

Studebaker first offered the V8 in a 232cid in 1951. Frank Mundy won three NASCAR races with it that year.

Venetian blinds were an early fifties option.

The four wrap-around rear windows are quintessential Studebaker.

These starlight coupes have always been favorites of mine. The venetian blinds in the back are beyond cool. ;-)
